Shipping Policy

Last updated: April 2026

Modam connects artists and collectors. Sellers arrange physical shipment directly; Modam does not operate a warehouse or courier service. This policy sets the shipping expectations for users.

1. Seller Responsibilities

2. Buyer Responsibilities

3. International Shipping & Customs

Shipments crossing international borders may be subject to customs inspections, causing delays outside the seller's control. If a package is rejected by customs or abandoned because a buyer refuses to pay import duties, the buyer may lose their right to a refund. Any return shipping or storage costs arising from a customs refusal may be deducted from the buyer's refund.

4. Lost or Damaged Shipments

Modam is not liable for carrier loss or damage. However, if a package is lost in transit or arrives physically damaged due to poor packaging, the buyer should open a dispute under the Refund Policy. Sellers are highly encouraged to purchase their own carrier shipping insurance, as it does not affect Modam's dispute resolution.
